Closets are the ideal solution for eliminating chaos and maximising storage space. Here’s some advice from Stylight on how to find the right closet to suit your needs:
1. What closet is right for what room?
Large closets with striking designs call for equally spacious surroundings. In small rooms, it’s best to opt for plain closets in light colours.
- A decorative feature for the living room: Display cabinets with glass doors or wall cabinets installed at eye level are ideal for showcasing little gems like ornaments or grandma’s porcelain while also offering protection from dust and dirt.
- A practical feature for the bedroom: Closets helps to keep bedrooms uncluttered. Space-saving drawer units and adjustable shelves create well-organized storage space for clothes.
- A hardwearing feature for the bathroom: Bathroom cabinets with integrated mirrored doors provide space for hand towels, cosmetics and other items, and should be manufactured from water-resistant materials. Cabinets made from glazed hardwood (oak or beech) or synthetics are ideal for bathrooms.
